Re: inventory disappears when traveling and world map bugs
What system are you playing on? If you are playing on Mac or PC, are you using mods and CC? Mods could be causing this so the 1st thing you should try is pulling your mods folder and playing the game for a while to see if it still happens. If it doesn't, then you will need to find the mod causing it and either update it or remove it..
If it still happens after playing in a mod free game or if you are on a console, then repair the game and see if that stops it.
