How do I disable voice chat in NFS Rivals/PS4?

How to disable ALL voice chat? And why voice chat is default ON so it broadcasts unsuspecting people's non-related activities? As a background noise?

(PS: My audio settings is to use headphones to output all sounds)

I do not believe there is a way to totally disable voice chat. As in NFS MW 2 you go to PLAYERS from AutoLog and click on the player then Mute individually. Just the way it is.
