Same issue here! EA help is no help!

i have preordered.

should I try and cancel the NBA Live 19 preorder since it will probably do the same thing with not updating and connecting to the EA servers!

Thank you so much for all your reports! Our team is currently working on a fix for this problem, but we have some workarounds that might help you connect with the servers sooner - I would be grateful if you could check them out and let me know if they worked.

Xbox One

• Delete the LIVE 19 Demo Reserve Storage.  This will force the LCU to redownload once the game is restarted.
• Steps: Home Menu/Guide -> My Games and Apps -> Highlight NBA LIVE 19 Demo -> Press the Menu Button on the Controller (3 Bars Button) -> Select "Manage Game and Add-ons" -> Saved Data -> Select "Reserved Space" -> Clear Reserve Space

PlayStation 4 (Updated steps as of 28th of August)

1. Close the title
2. Open the Settings menu at the top of the dashboard.
3. Select Storage, then select System Storage.
4. Select Saved Data.
5. Choose a game to access the game’ s saved data.
   
6. Press the Options button and select Delete.
7. Choose the saved data files to delete, then select Delete.
8. Reboot the title

In this situation, could you please try some additional connectivity troubleshooting steps for PS4?

• Set up static IP.
• Set up alternative DNS servers.

Then try to reinstall the demo again.

Since you're an Xbox player, I just want to confirm if you also get stuck at 15% and receive error NBA-DCFP? 🤔

I havent had a chance to try this workaround yet but seems a bit more involved than I would normally do. I'll have to find my router info honestly havent probably logged into it since original install.

I know dev team is aware of this issue and assume there will be a patch addressing it eventually?

There is one more fairly easy step that you can try before that - making sure that saved data for the demo is deleted. It's not always clear when you're simply reinstalling the game.

Here's more detailed instructions on how to do it:

1. Close the title
2. Open the Settings menu at the top of the dashboard.

5. Choose a game to access the game’ s saved data.
6. Press the Options button and select Delete.
7. Choose the saved data files to delete, then select Delete.
8. Reboot the title

Mine still won't do anything after all this trouble-shooting this is very dissappointing.  

Mine is doing the same thing stopping at 13% I have the disc. It’s a shame because I was enjoying the game. But this also happened to me with the demo. I think it’s when they implement an update....  it needs to be addressed ASAP! I picked up a used (GAMESTOP) 2k19 yesterday and will be playing that for the time being.

I have tried everything you have suggested and everything that anyone else has suggested.  Nothing works.  

Same here. Tried everything instructed to. I can still connect to the server for NBA Live 18 but not 19.
