Highschool events 4 times in spring, none in rest of year

I my calendar it's only in spring - every week! And NO prom events etc. at any other time in the year! I play with 28 days a season - so I think it's a bug that prom doesn't move to maybe end of every season or something, it just stays in spring!! I can't play like this, please fix it!

Edit By Crinrict: Split from other thread, Adjusted Titel

Edit by Makabaerli:

The new title is misleading. Is there a way to change it?

My calendar still has every season but all highschool events only happen in spring. I hope that's not how it is supposed to be... If I change my calendar to 14 days per season instead of 28, the highschool events spread through spring and summer. I guess you "should" play only 7 days per season so you get those events every season. But 7 days per season is ridiculous for my gameplay, I always chose 28 or at least 14.

Edit2 by Makabaerli: changed title

  • @Makabaerli This is how the calendar works.

If you start a new save, and pick spring, all of prom is going to be in that season since you picked that.

It’ll show the prom date for the next season after the first week progresses (first week of summer for your sims)

No, I removed them all and started a completely new save, just to test highschool gameplay etc. until mods would be updated... So it can't be a mod.

I started the new save in spring, I wonder if otherwise all proms etc. would be in another season but that wouldn't solve the problem anyway. Maybe if I change moon phases or something? But that would also be a bug that needs to be fixed.

Maybe it has to do with the sim long/normal/short lifetime? Normally I play with long lifetime but I heard that's bugged so I'm playing that new save with "normal" (not touching my original saves until that bug is fixed of course, don't want my sims to suddenly age up).

@Makabaerli You can just change the title to better reflect what you're seeing. When editing you should have the option to change the title

Guess I misunderstood what you are seeing.

Oh, I see! So it is simply prom all year round every sunday? But it can only be seen in the next season after starting that season because you can only see for the next 4 weeks or something?

Hm, okay. It's not like I hoped as it seems a little excessiv every week but it's still better than the bug I feared.

Thanks so much for your answer!

@Makabaerli Yes, you can only see the immediate 4 weeks

Nah. like I mentioned, it's how the calendar works i attached my sims calendar to show you what it looks like when you are half way through a season.
