This sounds extremely frustrating to read, let's get this fixed so you don't keep forfeiting. Can you let me know if there any steps you've tried outside of these steps below? We'll want to make sure all these basic steps are taken so the team is informed technical troubleshooting doesn't solve it.

Have you deleted your game and re-downloaded it since then? That usually helps when it comes to crashes. If you synced up your game to Google/Facebook/Apple you can safely delete the app and reinstall it without losing progress. 

Do you play on mobile or WiFi network when it crashes?

What type of device do you have?

Will the re-install also fix the -8000 for  forfeits?

Or the low OVR teams playing like 110 OVR teams against a 108 lineup?

Nah,

this game ain't broken,

It's simply rigged to frustrate you to convince you to buff up your team by spending money.

In the last week i have lost in excess of 1000 energy on failed challenges, rigged pvp matches. and even the Entire Quantum Dunk Challenge being rigged half the time.

Uncharacteristically missed shots. And 80ovr AI teams that perform like 110ovr.

Even the Dr J. third challenge comes down to a point difference playing against me like i have a amateur lineup.

Shots that are challenged by two or even three defenders, a shot that nearly gets blocked, the stat report feedback shows that the basket made by opponent  as being OPEN. Even worse when a player with 90 or below 3 point stat makes it against my +110 block and ONBD players.

In challenges like the score 2 three pointers challenge, your teams can't score a three pointer in the first minute and a half to save its life. Even with 106 curry with no defender anywhere nearby, with +115 3 pointing stat being OPEN and throwing according to the game a Perfect shot, I get air-balls, or bad thrown shots that are nowhere near of making it. Next play opponent makes a 3 pointer with 2 or even 3 players jumping to block. They make the shot and reports it as OPEN.

In the score 2 baskets challenge. My Carter got his ITP ability blocked by an opponent with like 84 block that was not exactly in the right position to make a block in the first place.

Worst is watching my NPC teammates into what seems like on purpose leaving their opponent open or performing other stupid behavior.

I have a 108 near 109 ovr team with a 107 ovr bench.

The game's  behavior the last 2 weeks has been atrocious.

There has always been matches where your team would have "good" and "bad" days.

But lately i see players like 107 Yao and Shaq getting shot blocked by player with 85 and below stats.

Not blocking my +110 Dunk and +110 SWC players once or twice in a game, but more than a handful.

106 Baylor, 108 Carter and 106 George getting blocked or missing shots with their In the Paint or Post ability by low OVR players.

What is worst is seeing 106 and 107 ovr opponent teams with Shaq or Yao making heavily contested 3 pointer after 3 pointer.

That is when you know hell has frozen over.

In my last match, opponent Yao and Shaq made a combined 4 or 5  3-pointers.

Match ended  24-22.

I have a 108 OVR team with Baylor Carter Durand Shaq Yao all 107-108 over with a 107 OVR bench  I'll be 109 OVR within the next 2-3 days.

.

Yet the AI on those 105-107 teams play like a 109-110 ovr team while my team sticks their thumb in their mouth and lose the ball, get blocked or miss open shots like they're an under 100 ovr team.

It's like my team turns into a college lineup playing against real NBA players and are more focused admiring their idols that playing the game.

Bonus----

How many 3 pointers has shaq made is his entire career?   -----    1 in his entire basketball career.

Has many has Yao made?  --- 2 in the NBA and 1 with the Chinese national team.

I love both Shaq and Yao, but as three point shooters, they made a combined total of four 3-pointers in their entire career.

To have them score three pointer after three pointer in a single match against 2-3 defenders guarding or trying to block them is ridiculous.

@enok2019   I completely agree with every point you raised. I’ve been playing this game for all 3 seasons and I swear this season has been the most frustrating. The -8000 points for the forfeits in Showdown is probably the most irritating and I still don’t understand why it is there. I’ve got the game on my iPhone and my Samsung so I know the whole network timeout is not specific to one operating system and when on 4G or WiFi also makes no difference. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the game a couple of times with no change. Once when trying to complete daily challenges I faced 6 forfeits in a row at which time I just gave up because I was losing to many fans and had no idea if it was going to eventually work. 

Because of this, I pretty much only play the minimum of Showdowns required to keep my daily challenges complete and all. 

I hope the new new season will address all the issues with the current one and release some new improvements to keep us all active

Have you avoided crashes in Showdown in the last couple weeks or are they still occurring in the same frequency?

To be honest no but that’s only because I generally only go on and get my 10 points needed and don’t bother continuing. The game still crashes but it hasn’t done so during a Showdown because of this. 

Lately though it seems like the gameplay has become a lot worse than normal. I haven’t won a quarter in the last 5 days because I seem to miss at least 50% of my shots and it doesn’t matter if I’m playing higher or lower OVR teams. The other day I missed 2 layups and 2 dunks plus a wide open 3 with my 106 Curry. I ended up losing to a 104 OVR team with my 108. It hardly seems worth while considering the difficulty in getting any value out of the Showdown sets
