@VeeBee31 When you're not sure it's a mod, it's time to do a "vanilla" test: Drag the Mods folder to the desktop, delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving. This will show you if your lag is related to CC.

But note that there's a lot of causes of lag. It might be that you've got big lots with lots of interactable objects. It might be having too many script mods (over about 250 of them). It might be duplicate mod/CC files. It might be more Sims in the game than your computer can handle. It might be higher graphics settings than your computer can handle. It might be all of the above.
