Re: I enter the game, press the space bar, but nothing happens

@jorginho199529@mkovalev

It is most likely the info in the following article will help you guys play.

It seems like you just need to setup a GPU profile so your discrete video cards are used rather than your Intel HD graphics hardware:

(Edit: this suggestion has been added to the PC troubleshooting thread)

    I'm currently facing the same problem. The game loads fine, its in a running condition, but it doesn't react to the buttons space(which is represented as the usual space symbol) or L. I have pressed all the buttons in vain.

    created the game prefiles as directed but no good

    installed the two VC files and restarted

    No good.

    cpu - core i7-2630qm

    gpu - hd6770m

    ram - 8gb

    I have attached my dxdiag.txt below

    Hi,

    I replied to you in another thread as well.

    It seems that your gpu doesn't meet the minimum requirements for Need for Speed. This means that if the game runs into any issues that we won't be able to troubleshoot further.

  • I just solved the problem of Space to Start not working on my system tonight.  I have to exit Teamviewer  before I start the game.   I'm guessing has to do with it's hooks into the system for remote control and such.   You may have that or some other program running that is interfering.
