Edit:  For others seeing this issue, please remove your mods first, starting with any from TwistedMexi and All Worlds are Residential from Zerbu.

@Ameithystt  Please test in a new save, still with no mods or custom content present, as in, move the Mods folder to the desktop and delete localthumbcache.package.

If that deosn't help, please try playing in a clean user folder.  Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.)  Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see whether you can access the new world.

    I was having the same issue with the world not loading. I tried what you suggested and it worked!

    I just went through all my mds.

    Tmex-TOOL was the mod causing the issue.  I removed it and it worked.  I have sent Mexi a message about the issue.

    I can say without a doubt that Twisted Mexi's build mods are the issue as to why the cupid's corner app isn't working.

    Im having the same issue of the world not loading and the screen being white. When I start a new save everything is fine but this is the second time that later into the game when i try to view Ciudad Enamorada from manage worlds, traveling with a sim, or moving out a sim it does not load and i get the white screen. I tested it with moving the electronic arts folder out of documents on to my desktop, everything works off the bat but im not sure if ill have this issue going forward or what to do next.
