The biggest problem with Drifting in Heat is using the wrong setup.

The logical choice would be using Drift or Showcase parts but that will only result in the car being too slippery and wheel spinning constantly loosing speed and being uncontrollable.

Here is the fix.

Use a RWD car with Speedcross Suspension and Differential combined with Drag tires Super or Elite.

No downforce and Steering how you like it.

Traction control off and Brake to drift.

The Speedcross parts are a mix of Offroad and Drift and seem to help the tires grip instead of spin and the Drag tires stop the car from being over responsive as well as score the most posts in events and drift zones.
