One other users stated the following in the thread I linked:

Wanted to say that reinstalling the origin client in the default directory solved it for me. I had Origin on the D:\ drive; this game insisted it be on the C:\

Have you by any chance installed Origin on another location? Please also try flushing your DNS Cache. As a last resort, we've had some reports recently about players in Singapore on a certain ISP having issues with Origin. Could you also try using a VPN?

    Nope. I had origin installed at C: but my need for speed is in  D : because my C: is a SSD  and im from Singapore too. VPN? im gona try  flushing my DNS Cache and update you later. o7

    update. I flushed my DNS nope it dont work.  Can u tell me more about how to VPN?

    @Gerviel

    You can use a VPN to pretend that your connection is coming from somewhere else, in which case you would be able to go around any issues that your ISP might be causing. 

    The VPN is only for testing purposes. You should be able to download free VPN's addons for your browser if you are using Chrome.
