Re: Franchise mode: 2 way contract players being claimed by other teams!

Hi there, @PatientMentall

I'll pass this on to the team. They may want a video of it so if you see this happen again, can you try to get that? Thanks!

A player that has a 2-way contract can still need to go through waivers depending on their age and how many games they've played at the NHL level.  The game tells you whether a player will go through waivers when you try to send them to the AHL.

You should be able to check the Waivers column in the roster moves spreadsheet to see which players are eligible to be waived. Are you seeing players not listed here also being claimed?

@EA_AljoThe waiver is not correct since years. When you claim a player from waiver he will go to your NHL team. If you want to move him to your minor team, again another team can pick him from waiver. At your game he goes directly to the minor team without another team can pick him. Why ist it not possible to move draft picks in our Rosters ?

  • @EA_Aljo while on the topic of waivers...

when a player is claimed, they are required to play in the team's next game, and have to clear waivers to be sent back down

they also start before pre-season ends, which is not in the game and i think it should be
