Community ManagerCan you temporarily disable any antivirus software and manually run the following file as an Administrator (right click, run as admin):
Origin Games\Need for Speed Payback\__Installer\directx\redist\DXSETUP.exe
You could also do the same with the three vcredist files too.

Community ManagerAre you trying to run the DXSETUP from the location I posted above or did you download from elsewhere on the net?
After reinstalling, running Origin.exe from my data files as administrator just like DXSETUP.exe, running and repairing all other vcredist files the game now downloads past 86%, I hope that it will work out now, but untill I am sure everything is fine I will keep this topic open 😉
