Re: nfs payback SLOW MO LAG

I had Need for speed Payback on trial this week and didn't buy it because I couldn't fix this problem.

For me the game would always go to slow motion after about 30 minutes of play, no matter what I did in game, it is always guaranteed to happen.

All my hardware was running as normal when this happened, and FPS did not drop while this was happening.

Windows 10

GTX1080

i7 3770k

16GB RAM

Yeah I searched and couldn't find anyone else complaining so uninstalled the game. It might be a new bug since the latest update and not so many people playing now to report this problem.

Hey if you still have the trial, could you try a few things that I think might have a possibility of fixing this problem?

Try disabling those crash cams that do the slow motion when you ram the police cars. I remember seeing an option in the settings somewhere.

Also might be worth a shot deleting the contents of the NVidia cache folder.
You can find it by typing %temp%\Nvidia corporation in your search bar on the file explorer.
There will be an Nvidia cache folder in there, delete the contents and see does the problem still happen.

No, it didnt help. At random moment, the game slows down for ~3 minutes. After this all okay before next "slow mo bug". I have trial version too. When slowmo happend temperatures are ok, frequencies on cpu (4.3GHz) and gpu (1911hz) are ok, frametime are ok, 60fps (lock by Vsynh) looking it in "FPSMON" program.
    Specs:
    Win 10
    i7 8700
    16gb ram
    GTX 1070
