@T4JL You can't just turn on a controller and slide it over? Are you making sure that you marked both teams as "user-controlled" before starting the season?

Side note: Will we ever get basic online seasons back? It would be so fun to have the infrastructure for online seasons in the game instead of having to create a website and league outside of the game. I'm not even talking about team-management-related stuff (like the wonderful GM Connected mode we used to have. RIP), I just want the ability to start a season with anywhere from 2-32 real players. It would be nice if we could set the number of games played per season, playoff format, etc.

I guess I'm dreaming, though.

    We tried to start from scratch again. We each selected a team (even though using different user controllers, both selected team indicators were red). We went through all the settings. Nowhere could we fine to define both teams during game play as user controlled. We advanced to the season. We checked all the settings again. We can't find anything related to it. We tried to play the first game. Naturally one team was one of our selected team and the other was their first opponent. However, the opponent shows as CPU. And both of our controllers can only be moved to the team that was one of ours.

    One team was chosen by my son. One team was chosen by me. We want to play through the season where we each play for our team and all the games have the opponent controlled by the other, not the CPU. We do this easily in FIFA 23. 

    I have attached a photo showing that both controllers are active, but can only be slide to one side while the other is set to CPU.
