Re: Ps4 Crash Error NHL22

Appreciate your patience and details here. I'm going to ask some questions so we can figure out what's driving this error. I want to make sure we exhaust all hardware options first. 

Can you let me know the following:

• Are you using an external hard drive for your console?
• Is there anything plugged into the console's USB slots?
• Have you tried re-installing the game (y/n)
• Have you tried the PS4 solution for this error code? See here
• Have you cleared up space on your hard drive by removing screenshots, videos, and saves?
• Have you deleted the saved data both locally and in the cloud for NHL 22? Cloud data could be corrupted, therefore it's important to delete those files. If necessary, it's worth deleting all files prior to re-installing the game.
• Are you using an extension cord or surge protector for your console?
• Does your console feel hot when it shutdowns down?
• Is there anything blocking the fans on the console?
• Do you have a disc in your console while you're playing that isn't NHL 22? 
• Do you have any NHL 22 save files somehow located under different game folders in the cloud?

• Have you tried re-installing the game (y/n) Yes
• Have you tried the PS4 solution for this error code? See here  yes

• Does your console feel hot when it shutdowns down? Very warm but I wouldn't say hot
• Is there anything blocking the fans on the console? No blocking and is clean. 
• Do you have a disc in your console while you're playing that isn't NHL 22? No
• Do you have any NHL 22 save files somehow located under different game folders in the cloud? No

Can you please try playing without the extension cord and plug the console directly into the wall. I've seen others experience crashes when using them. 

If it still crashes after not using it, there's a possibility it could be related to the Bluetooth headset not being compatible with the game. Can you remove that from the console and play through TV speakers just to test and see if you still experience crashes? 

We've seen some reports of the game crashing when a headset is disconnected, therefore if it's Bluetooth I'm wondering if there is a brief moment of connectivity loss that is triggering a crash. 

@EA_Blueberry So I tried plugging my console into the wall and I have my headphone USB unplugged. Played about 4 games then I still got the blue screen with error CE-34878-0. I think this completes the list of possibilities of it being a hardware issue. I played NHL21 completely fine. Its NHL22 that is the issue. What is next on your list I should try?

@EA_Blueberry are you able to shed some light as to what I can do next? I've done all the things you said so far and i am waiting to hear back from you on what to do next.

How many friends do you have on your PlayStation friends list and do you use a custom picture for your PSN profile picture? (non-default version for PlayStation to choose from)

Reason why I ask about the friends is that there has been documentation online where PSN accounts with a significant amount of friends have been linked to this error code crash in Madden. Removing the friends and re-adding them fixed it. I've seen this more problematic with players with close to 100 or more friends, so I'd hate to ask you to remove all of them to test it out but I am curious if you do have around that many. 

@EA_Blueberry I have only had about 15 friends total at one time. And no personalized picture.
