Hey guys,

The game is running fine, and then suddenly it's the alt+tab of death, when I come back in Apex it doesn't recover and the game start to stutters really hard. My displayed fps are still at 240, but visually it's close to 10-30. It happens randomly after a certain amount of alt+tabs, the only way to recover is to restart the game.

This is a problem I've always had with Apex and it's driving me crazy. I'm motivated to find a solution, I need your help.

After some Google search I notice a lot of players encounter this bad behavior too, but I can't find a fix. I have never experienced that with any other games I play (Halo, Trackmania, Minecraft, CoD, LoL...), and with any systems I previously had (I clean install often like once or twice a year).

I tried to:

- Repair through Steam

- Uninstall / install game

- Clean install Windows

- Play in borderless

- Play in fullscreen

- Enable / Disable VSync

- Enable / Disable GSync

- Cap / Uncap FPS

- Disable FPS cap in background

- Use previous version of Nvidia drivers, and the 2nd previous

- Set "max performance" in Nvidia 3D settings

- Play on Apex DX11

- Play on Apex DX12

Windows is up to date, Nvidia drivers are up to date.
