I found that turning it to 120 HZ helps to solve this issue .. however also keeping it windowed not full screen also reduce the chances a lot ... its very weird really and annoying

I tried both those things already and none worked.
But i just found out that firstly it has something to with the low health screen cause it only happens there and secondly my Monitor just turned purple while watching a Apex video so maybe the Monitor doesnt like the color? well i just hope they try to fix it soon

    Hey there!

    try this:

    Download DDU

    run DDU
Have it reboot in to Safe mode.
    Run DDU
    Select: NVIDIA software and Drivers
    Select: Clean and Restart

Once done try install that driver again.

    then Run Apex Legends

    This could solve the problem.

Not my solution but cannot find the source any more.

Let me know if this solved the problem.

Did you already tried repairing the game / reinstalling ?

  • reinstalled the game atleast 4 times on my SSD and HDD and I used repairing aswell
  • Alright,

First and formost GTX 1080TI OC's are very wierd with there stability.

Try adjusting your GPU clock to stock and then turn up the power, volts and temp limit.

Keep the vram OC as is if your happy with its stability.

The 10 series GPU's have a dynamic Clock and supplying enough power and volts should be enough to get a higher OC.

This is my experience with OCing my card.

Ive seen youtubers adjust there GPU clocks but im not too sure about the long term stability.

(i have had issues with where i would adjust my gpu clock and it would show signs of instability but i could get higher gpu clock by only adjusting the volts, power and temp limit.)

Most stable driver atm is 417.71

    https://www.geforce.co.uk/drivers

Yeah if the screen goes a different colour it looks like s form of instability imo.

    Edit:

Your monitor has drivers, try installing direct from the manufacturer:

    https://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/curved-gaming-monitor-cfg70-series

Those drivers are for OP, if you want a link to your monitor drivers ping me and post teh model of your monitor. 🙂

Apparently ive reached some kind of limit to private messages?

    anyway

    @Spielemann01

Yeah i know but that driver version has made me crash more than usual so just a heads u if it happens to you.

Alright lets try a OS system check and update:

    1. Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, right click the Windows button, and then select Command Prompt (Admin). If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Allow or Yes.
    2. Type the following command, and then press Enter.
    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

Note It might take several minutes for the command operation to be completed.

    1. Type the following command and press Enter.
    sfc /scannow

Note It might take several minutes for the command operation to be completed.

    1. Close the command prompt, and then run Windows Update
