Packet Loss on Xbox One, does anyone know how to fix it

Product: Apex Legends
Platform:Microsoft XBOX One
Please specify your platform model. Microsoft Xbox One X
What is your gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name? ShrunkenMass3
Please provide your squad mates' gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name if possible.
Are you using any software with an overlay? No
Which Legend were you playing (if applicable)? Wattson
Which Legends were your squad mates using (if applicable)?
Where did the issue occur? In a match
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. Everywhere
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. Happens everywhere
Did your squad mates also experience the issue? No
How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? Over 20
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) Started a couple days ago
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
How severe is your issue? Major impacts to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? It’s packet loss that all I know but I do not know how to fix it
What should be happening instead? Just regular gameplay
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I just need it fixed please

    Hmm strange but today there was a Fortnite update and a big Pubg update.
    I wonder if you played Apex while updating.
    Xbox is set by default to automatically update your games and you experience lag and packet loss.

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    My games & apps, see all > Manage Queue > Queue
    If Xbox is updating your games then Pause all. Continue the updates later.
    Also, back in manage queue>settings you can disable Keep my games & apps up to date.
  • It’s been doing this for the past couple of days even if games weren’t updating, I can disable keep my games up to date to see if it will work

    If you're still running into packet loss can we try running through some connectivity troubleshooting to see if that helps at all? 

    I'd recommend starting off with the basic connectivity troubleshooting steps over at the EA Help website. If you're still having any trouble after that check out the Xbox-specific steps as well. Let me know if that helps at all with the packet loss you've been seeing.
