For some reason my pro controller disconnects after like 5 mins into playing apex legends. This does not happen to any of my other games. I’ve checked if the controller had an update and the game. They both did not. Any idea why?

Found a quick work around. So it appears that the controller disconnects if the joycons are on the switch. Maybe the controller thinks the joycons are being used by default and disconnects itself. My work around was just by taking off the joycons and turning them off, then using the controller.
My fix for this? Happens to me too. Only on Apex and only with the pro controller
Community ManagerHave you tried disconnecting the Joy-Cons from your Switch to test and see if that makes a difference at all? You should be able to disconnect them through the controller menu.

Hey there. I am having an issue with my pro controller disconnecting as soon as apex boots up on my switch lite. Outside of apex the controller stays connected just fine. Might be a bug so i thought id let you know
It'll act like its connected til i use the switch on its own for a minute then try to connect the pro controller. I think it doesn't recognize that the controller is connected at first
