Apex Legends Dive Trail Problem

@BaquantI think its terrable aswell... you can’t just make series 1+2 permanent and not expect us to want series 3+ permanent...

Make them all permanent or all temporary any otherway its unfair, also bring back diamond dive trails... I dont see an issue with Diamond, Master, and Predator Trails

@MIH4YL0WICHEither way its bull* for series 1+2 trails to be permanent when its going to be 10 times harder in the future series of rank to earn the predator trail so they should either all be permanent or all be temporary to be fair for everyone now and in the future

honestly the only reason to play rank was for the trail and I didn’t even want to play when the trails were permanent, now that they are temporary and everyone has the trails permanently why would I or anyone else who already have a trail waste their time on doing ranked in the future if the reward is only temporary and you know either you already have one or other players do and don’t have to waste their time every season like you would, you might aswell remove ranked mode and call it a complete failure because thats all it is... replace it with solos/duos

In Short Remove Series 1+2 Trails after this series and make it temporary from series 3 and up, or don’t make series 3+ temporary and keep it permanent for everyone

Dive trails simply mean nothing now:

• You don't know if it's a dashboarder or not, lots of dashboarders, alt+f4 guys still have them.
• Old trails are an insult to the new ones:
  • Permanent old trails were for 7200RP gained over 12 weeks.
  • Temporary new trails are for 10000RP gained over 6 weeks.

The difference those extra weeks make is insane, add the dashboarders making various ranks much much easier and you had insanely easy games at most ranks by the end of the season.

There are going to be people with legit, non dashboarded old diamond 7200rp trails who are not evn capable of getting out of plat IV this season.

Master is harder than old predator.

The trail changes are fundamentally unfair but understandable and logical for a company trying to make people grind fake meaningless ranks that are not representational of skill anyway:

EA are incapable of actually dealing with mass cheating, it's not good for business to actually deal with a lot of those cheaters.

It's easier to reduce the incentive, than to actually sort out the problem.

We just have to put up with lazy, unfair, and bad solutions, to the companies own failures.

The one thing that would be totally unacceptable and a huge slap in the face of anyone getting 10k RP+ is if ranked 1 and 2 trails EVER appear again as a temporary reward. They should be clearly noticeably "those old trails that mean nothing because dashboarders still have them and people who can't even get diamond now (let alone master), have them".

Yeah I have to agree not being able to keep the dive trail is unfair and a huge disappointment. Especially when season 1 and 2 get to keep theirs. One of the main reasons I started playing ranked was to grind for the visual flair of the dive trails. They look awesome and shouldn’t be temporary. Probably won’t touch ranked after this season if I don’t get to keep my rewards that I earned through the grind

Yes, we can all agree that we play ranked for the dive trails so why cant we keep them after putting in our time and effort. I hope EA/Respawn can change it back to permanent trails. Otherwise the game of ranked won’t be the same. I started playing season 3 and I was still getting used to the game. Now im in diamond 3 and trying to get masters but knowing that my trails will expire is really disappointing. 

So these people are telling me the grind that it took to get to master solo que ain’t worth a damn dive trail?!?!? I was sweating for 100 hours plus hating my life playing this stupid game and they take my hard earned award away. What a joke EA is, their egregious acts make me not want to play this game let alone taking away hundreds of hours of work. Honestly I’m done with this pile of *.

What is more annoying then what anyone here has mentioned..... Is you guys who think because we have a trail because we have 20 bomb and 4k damage that this implies omg this dude is a god..... You know how effin easy it is to get 20 bomb and 4k on a new season bronze rank games? I mean come on people... We are not here to carry you. We also have bad drops and die. We also get out played at times. 

We are not gods we make mistakes also. I have 20 bomb and 4k on 5 legends. Does this make me a god? Not at all it means i was placed in a bot lobby compared to my skill level. What im sick of as a pred and someone with these badges... Is everyone expecting that carry and not hold your own.... Every game i go in with randoms most 9 out of 10 times they instantly in coms or chats thanks for the carry while in drop ship.... This is the crap we have put up with being good player. So while you think they may be trash because they did die just know we all die.

RNG is everything with apex. So us dying on drop is quite reasonable and understandable even mid game depending on situation we may not be able to heal or shield just as you cant at times if run out. What im sick of is players who put in 12k plus games and over 2500 hours like myself being belittled because they die to someone or did not do their best in a match. We all fk up some where.
