@Midnight9746 thats likely the case.
A lot of people still think, the datacenter they connect to, also represents the gameserver/area which is simply not fact.
The Naming of the Datacenters is simply misleading and should rather be Europe 1-7 , North America x-y , Asia x-y ect.

@r1ggedgameYeah, its clearly misleading as I've always thought the data centers was a fancy way of saying "a set of servers within an area". The only indication we get in terms of the region is the name of the data centers. London isn't going to be in the North America region, but rather in the region of Europe.

@r1ggedgame More or less how it works.
Most games I've played have data centers for NA, EU, SA, and AS, where it only connects you to the servers within the respective region.
I wonder if its because Apex tries to shorten que times or if its just a matchmaking thing.
