Apex banning me for no reason?

So I play apex when I have free time and can be considered a casual. I have around 30 kill overall my characters, more games played than kills, and no wins. When I got home yesterday and wanted to play the game I come to find myself banned. I don't wanna hear "we cant answer this on the forums" bs cause I emailed EA and got the response "We got your note and did a full investigation of your account. After reviewing your case, we determined that we took the correct action in accordance with EA policies and procedures". Now I have no idea what you did during the investigation but honestly this is either bad customer support or your cheat catching system is so good it caught me imagining I was cheating cause honestly what did you investigate? This game is great but honestly this customer service kinda ruined my day. My account was barely a week old and just to clarify i did not cheat and wanted to bring it up here to see if others with similar problems had this issue. Please don't give people issues like this, I understand people cheat but you gotta fix this please. You could also think "what proof are you giving that you didnt cheat" but here I am the one thinking how did you think I cheated? what program did I use? giving the most vague answer might work for those mass cheaters who know they cheated and wouldn't bother to fight their case, but for me examine my account as much as you want then tell me the results.

On another note: I emailed them about showing proof of me cheating so lets see what happens

  • I'm assuming they did it so they don't get caught cheating on their own account. And yes it's a free game which makes it even more frustrating... Just wish I had not spent money on it at this point because I guess I'm not getting that back!

I think the most kills I have ever gotten is 5 in one match and maybe 800 dmg...   pretty sad stats if I am cheating lol

Not trying to be funny or clever here but most cheats are terrible players.

  • Well you are welcome to think what you will =)

It's pretty simple to create a new account to keep playing. It is free after all.

I just wish they would have looked into it some more given the fact that I spent money on them.

@DaemandreadIt honestly would not surprise me if cheats do actually spend money in the store. Not only are cheats typically terrible players but they aren't terribly smart either.

  • One is less than what is needed but every bit helps 👍🏻👍🏻
  • Yesterday I downloaded the game on my work pc and played the tutorial and colesd the game.

Today I tryed to play the game and found that I was banned, I didn't play a single match online.

  • @warslag I am not really interested in theorizing on what a cheater might or might not do. The facts are that someone logged into my account and they should be able to see where they logged in from and the date that happened. They should also be able to see I updated my password and required an email be sent to me with a code to be able to log in.

Exact same story here, someone hacked himself on the night of 7th April into my account, he played only one game as Octane. 2 Days later i receive a message telling me I'm banned for using cheats. I used live chat and wrote emails to EA but they refuse to remove the ban, what a trash company, don't ever waste your money on their games, or anything. They stole 100€ from me and alot of time i put into my account.
