Apex legends abandon penalty
Can yall please get rid of this stupid thing? It sucks when your team abandons you and I'm waiting for nothing.

Totally agree, got this penalty for leaving a two player squad before the match had started!! @Trident10666
pretty much every game there are multiple incomplete squads. Developers don't want incomplete squads to leave game.
Since you play in incomplete squad and you can't lose your RP, so it's stupid to leave. I won many games in incomplete squad. Even if you will not kill anyone, but you will survive long enough you will earn RP.
If you still want to leave, then kill yourself, or even hot drop and die in fight.
Penalty for leaving must stay.- @BoaFang7 Do you know the max penalty? I leave a lot in ranked due to legitimate reasons that have been stated like my banner not being retrieved or them not wanting to respawn me but I will admit this last game I played I straight rage quit because I had purp armor and hit a kid with white with Practically a whole mag of a havoc and I died. Absolutely embarrassing and made no sense so I left but my penalty is 360:00 minutes lol

I know one thing. I payed for this game without the abandon penalty, remove it please or i will remove EA and Origin from my pc. Thank you.
Is it true you won't get a penality if you leave when your banner timer runs out? Would help a lot if it was.
And yeah they should keep it but change one thing, getting banned from other mode, like i get trollled and i choose to leave because the mates won't play but i choose and i accept the ranked ban for said time, but i want to play the event mode for the time i have to wait.
I sort of hate this. The first time or two it wasn't so bad, but after playing the fright night crap as my intro to the game.. chasing the challenges, it got quite boring playing as shadows. So, I built a muscle memory for bowing out as a shadow. Then I started ranked play, and sometimes in my first game or two I will back out if I have a really stupid squad and someone runs away and the remaining of us are downed.. it's obvious there's no rez going to happen so I exit. Then I'm like.. crap.. I forgot the penalty.. I guess I can't play for like 45 minutes.
It really should give a reminding WARNING about the penalty you're taking for leaving. Not just the regular 'are you sure' message for exiting.
10-15 minute penalty is plenty. This 45 minute * is going to make me go back to fortnite for the chapter 2 after I said I wouldn't. 45 minutes is a long time to not play in the window I set aside for gaming.
