Apex legends abandon penalty

Just got a 45 min ban - I clicked leave game after my respawn timed out... I find the lack of leave forgiveness highly frustrating. If the timer keeps on going up, I will be quitting Apex. I don't want to invest in a game that continues to punish me the longer I play - when you play a game so long, you're bound to leave for accidental reasons/out of necessity. I don't rage quit, as I simply don't get angered by games.

The abandon penalty, however... now, that makes me angry lol.

Fix the broken abandon game penalty. I just got penalized for 6 HOURS!!!! I left the game since it was a 2 man squad - before I didn't get penalized but all of a sudden a 6 hour PENALTY. TRASH GAME! * OUTTA HERE. Guess I'll just play CoD and get back into playing Overwatch. * this trash game.

I must agree. The penalty duration is way too long. I openly admit i just quit a game in frustration (PLAT ranked) when my team refused to engage any enemy players but simply ran from every fight for no reason at all. now i got like ~300+ ish minutes to wait. i'm honestly considering dropping the game entirely (enjoyed it so much since season 1) but that penaly duration kills all the fun. give me 60 min. of penalty and i might think twice about quitting, even if my team is trolling... give me hours of penalty repeatedly and that day coming home from work all hyped up bout playing apex is gone ...cuz how long will the next penalty be maybe a lifetime sentence?... before that happens i rather quit ... the game ... entirely.

The timeouts are way too ridiculous! I have 700 minutes now, I have left accidentally a couple of times, another time I left as the whole squad was dead and I was still timed out and just now we were just 2 in the squad so I left and I still got penalized. You guys are crazy with timeouts like these... going PUBG thx

Yeah i am soooooo close to uninstalling since i get penalties for * stupid reasons.. I'm now at 44 mins after i left as the other ones in my squad did before me.. Ranked is already * as it is so can we pls stop making it worse. What are Respawn doing? Either they are actively trying to ruin their own game or they're just idiots. Almost every change since launch has been for the worse. Sorry but it's true

I personally think they should take it out of the game. I think they should take it out of the game because there are so many times I forgot that I'm playing ranked and its an instict to leave. Or at least make the screen turn entirely red and then put two notifications. not just leave game and then leave button. It should be leave game button then you click it and it says are you sure your gonna get penalty. I don't know why I just get so into the game that I forget that it is ranked and I just recently got penalty of 11 HOURS!!!!! I want to play apex ☹️ ☹️ ☹️ ☹️ ☹️ ☹️ >☹️

We need the penalty. Too many guys just DC after they die, don't like their loot, or just don't like their teammates. I would actually advocate putting it in ALL Apex game modes and not just randoms.  

That being said, it does need to be modified. Here is what I would suggest.

• Autoban if you are downed and DC before you are raised.
• No Autoban after 30 seconds if you are killed and are outside the circle.
• No Autoban after 1 minute if you are killed and nobody grabs your banner.
• No Autoban if you are killed and there is no respawn in the circle.

But seriously... if you are getting an 11 hour ban, you have issues and need to sop rage-quitting.

I personally realized I am very good at surviving.
Many players just are into fighting and run blindly into firefights.

Especially those who insta drop and land between 6 other squads.

I believe those players should play other games like Battlefield for example!
There they get instant action and fast revive as they like it and they need no teamplay.

If I have a 2 man squad or if I am alone, I just keep looting and let the other teams fight.

Often I get into the top 5 and some 2nd places rewarded me with great XP.

If you survive 15-20 minutes you get about 3500 XP.

1st place just adds 600 900(edited) extra XP and a kill only 50XP.
So I better keep on playing 15 minutes instead of loosing time waiting for new matches several times.

Even if I do not shot a single bullet I get lot of XP, I really enjoy it!
