Cross progression and "new" accounts

Hey guys,

So i had to link all my Apex accounts to allow cross-progression, in doing that it "wiped" my pc account, which is fine, was fairly new as it is. I've now linked the account to the EA account with the PS4 and XBOX accounts. I know it said "any new account created before the 26th wont get it. my question is, does the wipe make my account new> and does this mean I WONT get cross-progression?

    It will count as a new account, yes.

    However, that has no impact over getting Cross Progression on the account. Here's the full line:

    Note: to prevent exploitation, any secondary Apex Legends accounts created after Oct 26th for the same EA account, will not be eligible to be merged.

    This just means the content would not be merged, you'll still be able to use Cross Progression just fine on the account.

    Hi @swearimabots,

    This just means you won't have any content merged from the PC account as it was originally linked to a different EA account.

    That will not impact Cross Progression being enabled on the account itself. Once you get the notification in-game you're fine! 🙂

    So its not gonna count the newly linked PC account as a "new account" even tho it got wiped and went to level 1?

    I have a question, and I really need help with this topic. 

    I have an apex account on PS4, and I recently switched over to PC. 

    I accidentally linked the EA account I was using for PS4 to an account that I had made after October 26th. 

    Does this mean i will not be able to get all my content and progress i have from the PS4 EA account merged due to the account it was linked with was made after the 26th of October? 

    I really hope this isn't the case because i sold my ps4, no longer have it and will remain on PC now.... put in so many hours and spent money on that account and it would really suck if I lost it all.... 

    is there a way i can unlink it and re link to the correct account that was made before October 26th ?

    Is there anything i can do here? I feel like respawn or EA should have said this or mentioned it before putting cross progression out there
