Super far Evo caches on Stormpoint

Theres still evo caches at certain POIs that you have to run SUPER far out to get and it wastes time. They said they fixed that either 1 or 2 seasons ago so whats the deal.

  • They say a lot of things. What they don't say and never will say is that they actually hate evo caches and would like to remove them from the game altogether. But feel like they can't without seeming to be openly hostile to new players and players with more conservative play styles. But they would much rather see everyone in the game trying to evo through combat. Gives the master tier players more excitement. Makes for better streams.

Tbh Evos are not a terrible edition, though I didnt like the crafting giving evo instead. however I dont think that they are wanting to be hostile at all to the new player, in fact I think with recent changes it the opposite. Its more friendly in a lot of aspect that it was even just a couple of seasons ago.

If they want to be friendly to new players they can drop evo altogether and go back to shields on the ground. If a new player found a good shield then they felt invincible and probably had a fun match even if they didn't win. But oh, no, we can't have luck play any role in this game because that's too anti-streamer. God forbid "good" players should have to learn how to manage luck, because that's not a skill that's fun to learn or to execute. Like shooting. It also can't be cheated. Like shooting can. So let's go to evo shields and make the game more cheater-friendly. That's worked out so well.
