Exactly.
It doesnt even need to be PvP game.
Helldivers, Aimlabs and even Fishing Planet has cheaters who use wallhacks to see the fishes.
There was a campaign many years ago about normalize playing on easy mode.
I think its now needed more than ever. We are now on the opposite end of that spectrum.
You have to drop massive stats and completely destroy your opponents to get validated.
This is given as an example by their favorite streamer or tube content creator.
Games have too big impact on youth self esteem because gaming has become too serious.
People have lost the fun in gaming. You have to grind or sweat it to get the self recognition.
I think there are two types of people who cheat. People who want to feel good about themselves and people who just want to see the world burn.
I would assume the majority are on the first category.
