Matched with other Solos against 3 stacks.

In higher ranked rankings (let's say from platinum this season) I am often paired with duos. If something doesn't work out as they wanted - who is to blame? Always random, that is me. I got used to it. Communication in this game is so toxic that I play without voice audio. Constant insults add to the stress when you have to fight alone because my duo have just died.

Well, I'm probably not the only one experiencing this :)

The diamond is already there, so there's peace for 33 or 34 days until the next split. I'm not going to continue participating in ranked, but it's mainly about balance, TTK and cheating. :D

Personally the most fun I ever had in any game was with terrible players who also just happened to be funny. If the attitude is right then the skill really just no longer matters. Winning and Having Fun can have some overlap, but far more often they have almost nothing to do with each other. Find those players and you will love the game no matter how good or bad you are at it.

This has always been my experience as well right up until last season. Suddenly about a third of my matches had me paired with people whose banners were nearly empty, but who played aggressively and even sometimes competently.

This season it's easily two thirds, maybe more. They're level 13 with no badges, some basic skin, and they wipe two or three squads, sometimes just one of them alone, sometimes the two of them together. But hey, EA can claim all these "new" players swelling their ranks so I guess it's all good. For somebody. Somewhere. Personally I'm getting tired of matches where the player skill range is so far to the left that I should feel like I'm playing bots, but the match is as sweaty as a tournament with cash, hookers, and blow for prizes.

Of course there are always enough solos to fill a match. Then the stacks would have to wait 30 minutes for a match. I don't personally care how long they might have to wait, but Respawn does. So there it is.

And don't think for a second that getting matched to a duo is a good answer. They are THE WORST. Of course, any duo who regularly play in trios will tell you that their randoms are the worst. It just is what it is. I guess the only possible fix is to use a mic and try like hell not to be rude with it, difficult as that might seem.

Just make your peace with the stacks and the wide-range matchmaking. It's always been this way and it will always be this way until the servers go dark.

Typically, 3stack consists of people whose nicknames are "TTV", "twich", "tiktok", etc. They also often have live broadcasts at the moment when I check them. If they were only placed in 3vs3 queues, they would see how difficult the game is and give up faster, and EA would lose the game's reach due to less advertising. 

They will never separate us as solo players from 3-stack matchmaking. It's not that they can't do it. They won't do it because they simply don't want to. :)

Unfortunately, you have to get used to it or find people to play with or change the game completely.

That's been going on for years.  Happens to me all the time and the other randoms I get matched with are worse than me, and I'm pretty average.  Makes absolutely no sense at all.
