Nahimic Driver is legit?

A program called Nahimic is already installed in the system when you buy MSI notebook. It is a driver(?) and there is a feature called "Sound Tracker". I did a google search and I found that this feature can tell you visually where the sound is coming from. I don't know if it is made for deaf people, but I don't think it is very fair. Since it is a feature integrated a priori into the MSI drivers I wanted to ask if there were any legitimacy risks regarding this. I've never activated it, so I don't even know if it gives a big advantage but I wanted to ask if it is seen as a cheat by Apex and what I can do if so. In my opinion it could be a serious problem for those who buy an MSI.

That is just a way to emulate 7.1 surround sound via stereo speakers, its fine.

    Thanks for posting.

  • its been pretty enjoyable to use by me, though i tuned it with 3.5mm headphones,

if you want to remove it properly create a windows 10 or 11 media creation USB via the microsoft website and perform a clean install, then pick up the drivers and utilities you want manually from the support page. Nahimic shouldnt install itself after that. https://9apps.ooo/

could also install a 2nd NVME and install the OS onto that if you need to preserve your original install for any reason.
