Custom Reticle colours

Hello, I was wondering if custom reticle colours were ever going to come back. I can see why this feature was removed, but on the other hand it can limit people like myself who use certain colours to overcome colour blindness.

Will this feature come back or is it gone forever

  • VibinWithVariety  You should still have the option to change the reticle and laser sight's colors.

To change these colors, look under the "gameplay" tab in the in-game settings for "reticle" and "laser sight", and then click on "customize" for each:

Yea idk what ur talking about you can still change the settings it’s just kinda hidden

  • My apologies I didn't explain it well enough. What I meant by custom colours was when we could have ones that were like 250,110,800 for example.

Sorry for the confusion I didn't think it trough when typing

VibinWithVariety  So what you had meant was being able to edit the RGB variables directly themselves.

You can do that by clicking on the RGB values found in the customize tab:

The cool thing too, is that once you change the reticle's color, the laser sight will have the option to apply the same color:

Note: I was able to change the colors to a custom RGB on both PC and on the Switch.

  • I understand. To expand on my question, I was wondering if neon crosshairs would be allowed again. What I mean by that is reticle colours that go past past the traditional 255 for each colour, I used to run a reticle that was something 255.255,1255. I suffer from red green colour-blindness so having the ability to tune my reticle beyond the 255 limit really helped out

VibinWithVariety  So you are wanting to edit it in a way where becomes visible to you. (While I did find out how to do this on PC, I'm not sure if its allowed, (so I will ask EA Support first before sharing how to do so)).

Assuming its allowed, was this what you were hoping for?

Note: I did try to apply this to the laser sight, but it just resets the color to blue, (which is the "previous color" shown below):

If its not allowed, you would need to find which RGB value works best for you.

The reticle customize tab is helpful for this, as it shows various environments to view your custom RGB in:
