I wanted to find out, i really want to play APEX LEGENDS but hear that you need a team of 3 to play. None of my friends in my region are playing so is this game able to be played solo or is there matchmaking?

It has automatic matchmaking, don't worry about having friends, spotting enemies and items you don't need works just as well with randoms.
