Sounds like management won't let the Dev team do what they want. So who knows if this was something on their list? Instead of investing more into better servers, we just keep getting more flashy animations and skins. Which all that is nice, and takes a lot of work to implement, but if the game doesn't feel fair, why would people stick around to spend money?
In a lot of ways, Apex is my favorite shooter of all time as well. There's so much more to explore with world building and the art. I'm hoping they're working on some sort of extraction shooter in the background, and they drop it out of nowhere like how they did with Apex.
