I feel the reduction in armor also lessens the chances of 3rd parties because fights end sooner. Getting 3rd partied has been a major complaint forever. Not only that but I feel like since fights are over quicker I get into another fight faster making the game flow better than it did before. I really think people just need to adjust before writing this season off.
I never have wrote anything before on any forum but I don't feel the urge to get on the game anymore cuz of taking off 25 of armor. I do agree with most people on here. Apex Devs if you ever somehow see this, understand that you guys are crazy good at what you do and Apex Legends is extremely unique because it's so different than any other game. Having the ability to win a fight while my other teammates are down with me surviving with 1 or 2 hp gets my adrenaline pumping. Even IF I get 3rd party I still am happy. With reducing by 25 just makes me feel like I'm playing a little bit of cod. Fyi, I stopped playing cod because ttk is so so short it doesn't make it fun. The rest of the update is pretty cool and I love it. I'm sure we all agree the Volt can be balanced but it's a new gun and those just take time to balance right. But this new TTK makes me not wanna play. I don't mean that in a bad way or get all negative to the Devs like I see others are, but I say that as sincere as possible. I'm sure a lot of people relied on that 25 shield to make a game changing play and that's what Apex is all about. I kinda feel like this was just something that wanted to be tested and I hope the Devs see that we all love the game for what it has that a game like cod doesn't have, the ability for a long battle that can end with either team winning through a crazy play all cuz TTK isn't short. Please change it back? :/
Coincidence that the new champ can spam out walls that effectively massively boost your health (and damage too cause why not!) and turrets that can stop anyone from being able to move within 500m at the same time they change it to insta-death 'strategic positioning' gameplay?
Season 6 blows. Total miss by reapawn. They’re going to lose a lot of players.
I've already regret putting down 60$ on this terrible matchmaking type of game. I will focus my money somewhere else now.
