100% Agree with you. They have ruined this game. I too have played this game nearly every day for the past year and a half and am so disappointed with the new updates. The game has gone way downhill since I started playing it, never hear footsteps anymore, guns are way OP along with lifeline, can never find mid range scopes, TTK has been lowered and this base building aspect making it more like fortnite. As well as being able to craft your armour is giving an edge to passive players with no skill. I really hope enough players are as disappointed and voice their issues with the game so ea restores Apex to what it used to be.
