Wraith's tactical ability, Into the Void, is essentially Phase Shift from Titanfall 2. When someone used phase shift, you were freaking out because there was no way to know where they went. However, Wraith has this convenient trail that tells you where she is, making it a weak ability. I'm not saying get rid of it, but dim it down a little or make it visible only in certain conditions like low light.
As somebody who basically never plays wraith i can offer a completely impartial opinion on this.
I actually think the OP is correct. Wraith only uses her tactical when you've got her on the ropes, which is fine and all but i can chase a wraith using her ability with ease, i know when its about to end as the SFX of the ability changes slightly, resulting in a fairly easy kill.
Removing the trail would be too much, lessening the intensity of it would be more than fair, especially since wraith takes considerably more damage now then she did in previous seasons and said ability now has a slow cooldown.
An escape ability is supposed to enable an escape, not just painfully delay the inevitable.
I don't think she's that bad. Sure you can see the trail and I guess you could say it does linger a little longer than it should as you can see it from a pretty impressive distance. Being able to see enemies whilst phasing would be alright I suppose, I mean it would really strengthen the ability. However I feel like that's mostly just for the benefit of newer players.
But then again I've been destroyed by loads of players playing as Wraith that know how to use her. She just has a steeper learning curve I guess.
@MandatoryIDtag I 100% agree with what you said. Now that you mention it I didn't actually realise there was a slight difference as she's about to exit phasing.

Absolutely she does.
The only thing I think Wraith needs is an adjustment to her passive so players with lag can use it.
Me, on my good PC with great internet:
Wraith: Shooter! Move!
Me: I find cover and don't get shot. Passive works as intended.
Someone else, on console or high lag internet:
Player: Gets shot.
Wraith: Shooter! Move!
Yeah... Maybe also give a small (5%) damage reduction on the first attacks against her (when her voices would trigger) so people with lag still get something with it.
Also, Mirage still needs a part of his passive that works when his team is dead and he's forced to run solo. In particular in this season where the ring is killing more of my teams than bullets (cause as much as I ping they don't listen and bloody well run!).
