Abandonment penalty after game crash

Playing ranked I was in the top ten when suddenly the game crashed and wouldn’t let me rejoin and got hit with the abandonment penalty because of bad severs

    Hey @Rob_roode,

    Sorry to see you weren't able to reconnect to the game. Did you get any particular error message with the game crash?

    I'm afraid we're unable to make any adjustments to your LP in these situations, but if you're seeing this happen on a consistent basis I'd definitely recommend checking through these connection troubleshooting steps to see if there's any improvement.

    @EA_Mako This issue isn't just happening to @Rob_roode, every single person I know has the same issue. I've lost over a thousand LP due to the servers not responding and to top it all off, have a 10 minute ban for no reason. The thing that makes me most frustrated is being in my ranked trial attempts and using one of my attempts because the game completely froze and won't let me rejoin AND my teammates can't leave because of a missing player. There shouldn't be trial attempts when this issue is still ongoing and I personally dislike that feature as a solo player.

    Had the same issue just now.

    I am playing the lockdown event. It starts to get very very laggy, the game stops every now and then for a few seconds... then disconnect to the starting screen.

    After Login, I am not able to reconnect, but I can start a completely new game.

    AFTER finishing that second game, I am greeted by this "ABANDONED GAME PENATLY"

    I like how the best EA can come up with for this game breaking glitch is

    The same thing happened to me. I was about to be revived with my teammate and as I was spawning in, my game crashed and I got hit with a -120 abandonment penalty. I’ve also been on the opposite end where our random gets dcd mid game, but we don’t get any loss forgiveness… It’s incredibly frustrating to have it hurt you in both instances. Please, please, please fix this so you don’t get penalized for server issues when you are the one kicked or aren’t the one kicked.

    They won't fix it so long as there are people who will buy their flashy recolored crap.

    And you wonder your game is losing market share in a competitive FPS market. The audacity to reply to your playerbase about "trouble shooting" connections is meme worthy, laughable, disrespectful, and utterly pathetic. I've never spent $1 on this game. And I never will.

    @sickbeezi It's been a nightmare this season. Last season was bad, but I soldiered on. This season... it's nearly every game that I get lagged out. I don't know what the * they've done to the servers but they're dead. I'm getting 20 minute abandon penalties now because it happens so often. It's barely even worth playing the game. I'll load into the firing range, lag out, get back in, load into the firing range again. From there I'd usually be able to go back to the lobby and get into a game. But now, that doesn't even work. I'll get into a match, freeze on the loading screen, get booted, get an abandon penalty. I don't even play ranked because it's pointless if this is just going to happen every time. This game * sucks now honestly. Packet loss almost every game, rubber banding, stuttering, lag, it only gets worse and worse.

    I had the same thing happen to me yeaterday and today. Game crashes, cant get back in. 10 min wait , -162 points . Im just about to be in d3
