Crossplay Friend Finding not working

So I wanted to add my nephew on Apex but when I search his username up it doesn't pop up it just says Not Found. I have read a post somewhere to this and there's no way me and him are on the same EA ...

Hi @Watercrosses I would recommend logging into your Customer Portal for both accounts to check if any privacy setting may be interfering.

    @EA_Illium I am also having the same issue, my friend is a Xbox player and I'm PC, we both tried to add each other using the EA ID but it's showing not found when we search for each other. Is there a resolve for this?

      PC players are only able to be paired with PC players

        This is false I have played with my Xbox friend many times but this is one of the few times we have had trouble playing.

        Yes you can I have several friends that are PC while I play on console

    I, too am having this issue. I am Xbox, I'm trying to add a friend from PS4, and we even tried the EA ID and nothing! Both direct searching and trying to invite to the club isn't working.
