Solved

EA TOS is absurd. "no restrictions" 2 weeks later "cheating"

On the 9th of May i received an error message stating "the client's game account has been banned." I appealed and was told i was not banned and that it is a known issue. "put in another ticket if you have issues logging in." Okay sure i did that and waited patiently. Then last night i received a email stating i am accused of cheating???How is there no details of this cheating allegations? Received no email, no ban in history, able to unlink account freely and able to play on the same account on Playstation. As i was typing another appeal to TOS last night, i was able to access the game normally and play for an hour. I just get on pressing continue until it worked. I was in disbelief and was so happy that i could access my account again. I was so delusional i thought @EA_Mari fixed my account.  WHAT IS HAPPENING? It would have been exactly 2 weeks since i was banned so i suspected it may have been a 2 week suspension of some sort and i happily took it for what it was and closed my ticket. Now i am receiving the same error message again. This tells me that if TOS cannot find a solution, they will just accuse you of cheating and close the case. ABSURD.

  • @Noramillim I'm sorry about this situation and we get where you coming from, however, nobody here on AHQ and that includes myself, has the power to investigate or lift any banned account.

I have spoken with the ToS team and they have confirmed a backlog on their side, so if you have already submitted a dispute, you can expect an email from noreply@ea.com about your case. The email will give you further details about our decision and how to dispute it if you think we’ve made a mistake.

@Noramillim No worries and hope you can get to the bottom of what's going on soon.

    Best of luck!
  • I have same error since May 13. At first I checked my account no active ban, nothing on my mail,no ban on my ea data. I contacted support live chat, they also said there is no problem with my account. After it didn't solve and i couldnt chat support anymore I have made a ticket about it. But then I got automatic mail about cheating. Honestly it is upsetting and dissapointing. I have thousands hours of game play two heirlooms. I don't know what to do anymore. I see online there are many people facing same issue. I hope they find solution for that soon, it would be horrible if all these people lose their account and progress. Right now it seems best that we be patient and wait so they fix the bug..

  • I'm having the same issue since Monday. No email and ban history and automated responses by support. I think this is a bug that they don't know about...

  • @hanas4Hopefully after an update of some sort this bug clears itself. Keep telling myself surely its a bug but at this point ive given up no one cares or is willing to take responsibility. Another appeal done and they refuse to provide details for the ban lmfao. Did not acknowledge I was able to access my account for a day or provide a date so I can show stream proof of no cheating
