I already solve this problem:
All you have is rename dl promo 2019 12 12 to dl promo 2019 12 12old and repair the game
And it works
As of yesterday I have been getting the engine error i attached. First of all when trying to locate this file, can't find it. It says its under C drive, I don't even have the game installed on c drive lol. I have repaired the game, reinstalled it, updated windows and nvidia drivers with no luck. The irony is that I can hop on Battlefront 2 or BF5 with no issues. I have changed install locations to isolate it to a storage drive issue, that didn't work. So until I can get a solution for this bizarre random error I have cancelled my membership effective 1/29/2020. Lets be honest why pay for a product or service that only works half the time. Just 24 hours ago I was able to play with no issues. Nothing had changed in that time frame for it to cause said engine error. Its unacceptable.

Are you getting the same error message as the others that have been reported in this thread, or is it giving you a different error? Are you not able to locate the folder from the file path that's coming up in the error message?
