My Apex account has been reset and I hope it will be restored.
On the evening of January 14th, I logged into the Steam platform to play Apex Legends. I was prompted to re-login to my EA account. After consecutively entering incorrect passwords, EA notified me that my account had been banned. Subsequently, I changed my password and logged back in, but discovered that my account had been downgraded to level 1 and my Apex Legends progress had been reset. I sincerely hope to restore my account to its previous state.

Sorry to hear about the trouble you're having with your Apex progress.
While you may be using the same Steam account, was that linked to a different EA account at some point?
Progress is stored on the EA account level, not on individual platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, etc. This means if you link your platform to a different EA account, you'll lose access to that progress and your account will appear to be reset.
In this case it looks like you're posting from a new account. If you had played Apex previously, that would have been while your Steam was linked to a different EA account. You will need to re-link to the original EA account to try restoring any missing progress.
