Questions on code:net error for private lobbies

Hi EA,

Im a concerned Manager for my esports team that is currently having issues with connecting to private lobbies for tournaments.

5 out 6 of our players that is playing in GLL and ALGS will always have this code:net error when trying to connect to the game(there is no problem entering the lobby).

4 of these players are playing together in one location and are using a 1gbps internet connection.

This problem is really consistent especially ALGS where we would not be able to join 5 out of 6 games.

Now as an competitive esports team this problem is really gamebreaking since its impossible to have results when we dont even have a chance to compete because of this error.  

Our esports group also have hosted a tournament with private lobbies(through EA community tournaments) and we found out that there are certain lobbies codes that we arent able to use (crashing as an admin after starting the lobby while the players is still able to play). Fortunately only that one particular code was defective on our side at the time.(Tried the code for a few times and still only the admin crashed while the players are fine).

Now, we are trying to solve this problem so that our esports team are able to compete properly in the tournament. But at the moment our options are limited.

1. Changing ISP is a no go as our location is only supported by one ISP only.

2. Our workaround at the moment is connecting with a phone line and then reconnect the lan.

So what we want to ask from your side is why exactly is that we are experiencing these issues and hopefully EA will be able to give us instructions in fixing these problems.

We hope you will be able to assist in these matter since we are trying to improve the Esports scene in Malaysia.

Details

- We are an esport group from Malaysia

- Using Times broadband 1gbps ISP

- Only experiencing problem with private lobbies and there are no major connection problems in normal/ranked lobbies
