Stuttering issues after genesis update

Just launched the game with all 8 CPU cores on 100%... That's messed up man. 

I'm still in the process of downloading season & have about half an hour left to wait.My only advice to fellow players if the same problems are persisting that occurred in season 9 is to hold fire on buying the Battle Pass for a few weeks.If Respawn see a sharp decline in Battle Pass sales I'd like to think they will pull their fingers out.

can anybody check about that screen? i have it every restart apex, so sad lol and i need to wait

@EL-Lucky_Loco I just finished updating my BIOS risking a power outage damaging my motherboard (y'know how common that is where we live) and I still am getting 100% CPU usage right when I enter the lobby. There's nothing left for me to do I did every fix I could find. I'm bitter watching my friends trying out the new stuff while I scroll through possible fixes for an issue that Respawn isn't actively trying to resolve even after releasing a new season.

The season 10 download on my PS5 was 30GB which is why it took a while.When I did try to get a BR Trio game in the lowest Data Center reading was London  (my region) with ping at 168ms & 2% Packet Loss & even on the main menu screen my main character Revenant was stuttering on in the background.Going onto the game mode selection screen screen there was constant flickering going on & then to top it off attempting the firing range were the game ping was constantly fluctuating between 100ms up to 600ms.Playing just the one game of BR Trios only confirmed my fears about the game, none of the performance issues that plagued season 9 has been fixed at all & the game is still a complete mess.And before I get the Spanish Inquisition about checking my internet connections,testing my internet yada,yada,yada etc I played several other multi-players straight after ie Fortnite,Dead by Daylight,Rocket League & between them the ping was reading at 30ms each so it certainly wasn't my internet.

As I mentioned in a previous post 'New Season same old problems' has never been more appropriate saying  than it is now & it absolutely bemuses me how the same problems from season 9 have transitioned over to season 10 with no attempt to fix them.This shows either mass incompetence or plain ignorance (probably both) on Respawns part.Respawn or any other games company would never have got away with releasing a bugged, unfinished game like this at full retail price without be ridiculed by the gaming press & media but because Apex is a free game to play that somehow makes it more okay,no it doesn't.Just look at the comments by Youtubers ,players on this forum & players on social media making justified complaints already & this is just the first day of the new season.

It pains me to say it but I think Apex is probably finished by the end of the season & as for me I'll probably delete the game long before that (probably by the end of the week).'New season same old problems' indeed.

Apex is losing players since the genesis update according to steamcharts, if they keep ignoring big community issues this game will eventually be dead. Regardless of how they kept throwing cosmetics to us.

This is not problem with you hardware guys, this game have trash optimization, i have stutter on 144fps, i have good pc other games run smooth, i have stutter when season 7 arrive, in season 6 i only use in launch options 2 command, -freq 144 +fps_max 0 and i cap fps with rivatuner on 146 and game run perfectly, now nothing work, every single match or firing range i have stuttering, fps are stable but game is stutter when i move, shoot, jump... I tried check in afterburner on framegraph and line is perfect, no framespikes not drops but game stuttering, wtf is wrong?

And to think 2 years ago Apex won the coveted 'Best Multiplayer Game of the Year' Award & reports suggested Apex had more people playing the game (a higher player base) than Fortnite. I very much doubt these achievements will ever be repeated again as things stand.

yeah well after genesis I had to literally make this game look like minecraft to run it now season 10 and I freeze at dropship then the game crashes/stutters. I gave up on this title, they won't put efforts into properly troubleshooting and optimizing their game so even if I'm just one player, I quit, not going to continue a pointless struggle.
