This game is a shame to Source engine.

I understand, but once they will fix this. I really don`t have other game to play, only this game has gameplay i like.

So now is better to not waste time and nerves on this * and just play other games. I wasted like for 4 days of troubleshooting and like 14 days of forum checking and received simple excuse and it`s not cool.
- 4 years ago@Detrovich yes, i'm in the same boat.... i just play apex or BF since the others brs are so slow.... no movement etc

I found this on Steam discussion and this guy said that it fixed the high CPU usage also stuttering, lagging, disconnecting for him. Haven't tried it myself but i'm just gonna leave it here:
First, in the game folder, i deleted the "EasyAntiCheat" folder and the "EasyAntiCheat_launcher" application.
Then i went to the game and used "Verify integrity of game files". The game reinstalled the EasyAntiCheat folder and application. Now the game runs fine again and my CPU isn't go up to 100%. - 4 years ago
@NoJamBros21 Ok so I just tried that and I can't believe it seems to have fixed it? Just played 2 matches with 40~60% CPU usage (as it was before the Genesis update). For real I can't believe something as simple as that SEEMS to have fixed it (let's hope it stays this way).
I tried everything: from BIOS update to chipster drivers, windows defender, power manegement, everything I could find and nothing fixed it... Omg.
Guys try it out

I`m about to try this. When i will have time i will do it exactly and write what i received from this.

I haven't tried it but i'm glad to hear this cuz from the Steam discussion there's one guy also said that this method fixed the problem, this made me hopeful to try it out 🙂

@NoJamBros21 Let's hope it gets fixed for you too! Thanks for sharing, really <3 Just a sidenote: I did this on Origin, haven't tried Steam.
- 4 years ago@ildeserto Thanks! Hopefully it works to others too that have the same issue.

ea has already abandoned apex, now it's just a money making machine but not for your amusement.
that's why serious problems remain unfixed for so long but they keep releasing skins every week.imagine if the same thing happens with fortnite, epic's business would be in danger because they have no more games but this thing doesn't happen with ea because they already have a new game ready and all the investment is put in that game.

Fortnite used to be a quite fun game to play a few seasons ago but underwhelming map & game changes, bots & rampant cheating it just plays like garbage now.Fortnite certainly doesn't have the player base it used to where a lot of matches at times are 30-40& filled with bots. There business model is reliant on enticing players with big license signings of movie/tv & comic book characters like Marvel,DC & Star Wars characters, film & tv characters like Predator,Aliens,Terminator,Lara Croft,Rick & Morty etc as well as big Youtube stars like Lazerbeam,Lachlan Apollo etc with their exclusive skins.Signing up stars like Marshmello,Ariana Grande etc for mini concert appearances is big revenue for Epic.
I certainly agree that the Fortnite Devs seem a lot more professional in their approach to fixing issues/bugs etc though

Yeah, it made fortnite not unique anymore. The unique fortnite i knew was before the BR mode, save the world mode which is good.

My intention was not to compare both games, maybe I have expressed myself badly since English is not my native language.
I wanted to say that fortnite was a very big project and epic invested a lot of money in it and it shows because it has always offered a good service. if you look closely you can see how epic's intention is to offer a service for years.
but with apex I don't see that intention.
- expensive skins, apex in his defense said in the past that they were very difficult to create, as if the rest of the games did not have that difficulty.
-errors that last a long time before being corrected as the no fill, and they are errors that greatly affect the quality of the game and the fun.
- very bad servers and with less people playing at the same time than others br
- etc.i think the intention of EA/RESPAWN is obvious, they just want to get the most money in the shortest time possible and that you have fun is not even in their plans, that's why they have few developers working on fixing the bugs, because they are not interested in investing money in fixing the game. they just want your money.

Maybe because i haven't update my gpu driver or the latest Microsoft update for better performance in games? Either way i'm lost..
- 4 years ago@NoJamBros21 Don`t be upset, they will fix it anyway. Just try to find new games to play.
- 4 years ago@Detrovich Yeah i do, been playing a lot of open world games lately (which is way more demanding) like AC:Origins, Just Cause 3 and GTA V even these games didn't used my CPU to 100% xD

@NoJamBros21 I guess you should try updating your windows (I'm on 21h1 + KB5004296 now and was running 1903 before trying those fixes) and GPU drivers. Those were one of the fixes I tried and they may have played an important role in resolving the issue.
GPU drivers is the first thing we all tried, i think.
we can't let this topic dies till the patch fixing it comes out, let's see how much pages this will have till that moment ahahahahha

Strange.. the guy who found this fix got the issue back again when installed the KB5004296 update. I guess solving this issue is a hit or miss type of situation perhaps?

hey guys, maybe now we receive some attention i saw that NRG_Rogue is having the same issue, he posted on twitter that he don't have fps drop but stuttering .... so prob is the same issue
