RP DOESNT COUNT

I was playing at GOLD 1 with 629 RP then i got Second Placed and got 458 RP It should be Platinum 4 With 337 RP, but when I went to the lobby there was no increase in rank and my rank was still at Gold 1 With 629 RP.
