Voice chat not working xbox

I am experiencing this issue on Xbox One. I will jump into a lobby solo with randoms, I can see their mics lighting up and the VoIP Speech to Text system is picking up their chatter and translating(very poorly I might add), but I am unable to hear them through my headset. I have no issues with my headset whatsoever. And upon inviting to xbox party chat am I actually able to hear them. I do not have this issue on any other game, and I recall voice chat working just fine on launch. Not sure what bugs you've created on whatever patches you folks rolled out the last 48 hours, but this is the single most saddening thing I've experienced with your product. As a customer who had gone and purchased your starter and founder packs for this otherwise glorious battle royale, I am slightly disappointed.
