- Alethes2 years agoSeasoned Ace@UP_LordPlumber Trailer epic indeed, they always look the part. This time the game mode as well, IMO: looking incredibly promising — mix of Rush & Frontlines; 20 v 20; and in my favorite 4 maps. (Too bad only two weeks to play.)
True, a missed opportunity to develop them as equals to the main ones. Portal weapons definitely could do with more attachments for instance: love some of them yet don’t play them as they can’t compete in terms of mags and under-barrels. - UP_LordPlumber2 years agoSeasoned Ace
@IIIWhiteWolfIIIBecause games could go forever? Back when it was added in BF1 I believe games went on for 40+ mins, it was stupid

The front lines mode looks interesting as a fan of Rush although playing it on just 4 maps, most of which I detest will kill the fun within hours.

@UP_LordPlumberI think whitewolf's referring to April 16-30 and limited time skins that'll be limited until they decide to recycle the modes again at a later date. Lol

It looks very promising.
And nice new skins.
- IIIWhiteWolfIII2 years agoNew Ace@I_DYN4MO_I I’m talking about both. Skins and Mods, why aren’t they always available in the store for people to buy whenever they want? And adding 3 to 5 options to the mods menu, why is it so hard? Let people play with the mod they want. Why do they keep removing them? People get used to a mod, and then they remove it. They learn the ins and outs of the mod, how to make kills, and then they remove it.
- IIIWhiteWolfIII2 years agoNew Ace@I_DYN4MO_I People need to get used to it. A certain game mode appeals to a certain audience. When they remove the game mode, they lose that audience for a while.
- IIIWhiteWolfIII2 years agoNew Ace@I_DYN4MO_I Sometimes I stream and people watch. They say let’s play this too. They buy it a week later, but they can’t find that game mode. This is not good. It would have been nice if it was permanent. It solidifies the player base.

@IIIWhiteWolfIIITotally with you on that. When Rush 16v16 is rotated out for 3 weeks of every month I play another game and is probably the main reason I'll pass on the next title.
To answer your question as to why they rotate game modes, its because - A small player pool + lots of game modes = longer matchmaking times.
In my case it just means a lost player for 3 weeks of every month, that in turn spends nothing in the store, and doesn't help populate other game modes and I'm sure there's many other players that do the same.
So are rotations actually healthy for a larger player base? In my case certainly not.
- IIIWhiteWolfIII2 years agoNew Ace@I_DYN4MO_I Every time I say this, you give the same response. there are few players. But why are there few? That’s something to think about. Restricting players to certain modes is also an answer to this question.
