Will 128 bots be brought back at some point? I don't really play mp other than to earn the weeklies, I suck at it and I like recreating and making cinematic experiences with bots, will you guys at some point make it possible to have 128 bots again like before the 2nd patch?
I'm on PC. I've tried everything, including having 2 players active on a portal server and it goes max to 64 even with PVP bots. It also doesn't go higher than 64 on solo breakthrough and conquest, I know because I've counted them many times to make sure.
Trust me I've tried everything, and when I say everything I mean LITERALLY everything, but I'm not talking about 128 MP with other people, I mean solo only you and bots, I've tried everything and I still can't get them to 128.
It used to be possible to have 128 bots back in November before patch 2, and that is if you created a portal server, and 1 more player joined, then it spawned more bots and upped it to 126, but then they removed it completely.
Wait but if you have 128, what do you do to get them, because if some sort of workaround exists that lets you have 128 bots solo non-MP I'll be ECSTATIC

Yep tried that just now but it's still 64, I even counted them smh
Hahah that is true, that's why I avoid MP in 2042, well that and the fact that there's too many vehicles and the maps are too big so you get sniped
Ahh that's unfortunate, but you guys should definitely consider at some point, at least for Portal, if not just for fun but because 128 bots makes for really good cinematic experiences and making really good promotional videos, these are ESPECIALLY useful for marketing purposes and drawing more players in from other games.
The carnage that 128 bots provides really captures the essence of Battlefield and I feel like the promotional material that can be created will appeal to a huge audience and not only bring back some of the playerbase, but it'll further draw in people from many other franchises that want a more arcade shooting experience but with the feel of real war around them. A lot of games exist that cover this particular area, such as Arma, or Insurgency, but unlike those games Battlefield is much easier to jump into and much more fun, but yea that's pretty much my thoughts on the matter, I understand it may impact performance, but as long as it's limited to custom Portal matches it'll provide a really good benefit to Battlefield monetary-wise and gameplay-wise
