128 player Breaktrough doesn't feel like stragetic teamplay mode
I got used to play Battlefield V Breaktrough mode with 1-2 squads of friends. It was easy to move as group or defend as group.
Now in Battlefield 2042 Breaktrough gameplay feels more K/D gaming than fighting for objectives as an team / squad / party.
In the beginning most of your friends doesn't have enough level for what I call 'basic items' like smoke grenades.
You get split up pretty fast because there isn't many landmarks what you can point out in voice chat "enemy is hiding behind that blue container" or "they're behind us!" doesn't usually help at all.
Compass doesn't seem to be seen by every player or it's hard to check it when every second is mostly hectic.
Playing as defensive team there is 360 degrees around you where enemies can flank you. As for four player squad there is little or no hope at all for being good defense when you can't build any barriers and most of the time you're open for aerial strikes.
Playing as attacking team there is just way too much open areas between checkpoints/sectors with barely nothing for your cover (except for that snow map where attacking team is sniping on higher grounds). It's usually free kills for enemy if you're infantry and try to move anywhere else than near checkpoints where are huge covers, buildings etc.
Just hoping for diversity in maps. Like for every map there should be random generated obstacles; trees and bushes at different locations, abandonded trucks.
Maybe ability for everyone to build somekind covers.
More diverse and recognizable landmarks in areas. Different buildings would have different graffitis, flags or something to tell them easily apart from others.
