@Zevered I, too, think it is a legitimate evolution for the BF to be 128 people in size. But to provide a sufficient experience at this scale required more investment, more time, more engines to handle, etc. I think the problem with this work is exactly as the topic owner said.
This was EA's official explanation of the reason they killed 128 player mode.

But I remember the desynch and lag in 128 person servers.
