@Man_iLoveFishingWell, don't wait 2 minutes then. It's not a vehicles only game like war thunder, it's mixed. Play infantry. If you're getting so swarmed by engineers, those players are sacrificing playing as support and reviving their teammates, trading off their team being weaker against enemy infantry. Rock paper scissors.
I know the attack helos are more overpowered. Nightbirds are still survivable enough. Any other vehicle (besides jets) will die if engineers pressure it, and that's how it should be.
- Man_iLoveFishing1 year agoSeasoned Ace@Lady_One Not by same person that i killed and i get punished after 15 seconds. I know it is my choice, but i dont play infantry in 2042. Soon my choice is to leave game. If i think like that, there are probably more of me types. Just not worth it.

@Man_iLoveFishingif the spawn rate of OP vehicles is to increase, then I want it balancing with limited flares/counter measures/repairs and decreased health. As we've seen in many videos recently, including those shared by the official Battlefield social media pages, vehicles, particularly air vehicles, can easily kill 15+ infantry in one run. Time to even the balance...

@MADMAC50KThey increased flares times and reduced repair amount/increased repairing time.
They can kill even 30, when there is no counter classes.

Imagine thinking armoured vehicles with extra firepower, unlimited self-repair and/or flares, that can drive/fly having a longer respawn cooldown over fleshy infantry is unfair lol. It's almost as if... it's called... balance.
Standard type of mindset from unskilled out-of-touch vehicle simps that can't get kills any other way due to being complete bots on the ground, hence their unrealistic entitled attitudes whenever they think something isn't favouring them over everyone else. Instead of actually getting gud, they'll just do nothing and sit in the spawn screen until their handicap reappears for selection - truly the most useless type of players! Very precious.
Then again, it's coming from the same person that whined about stealth helis being killed by a single Lis rocket (working as intended) so none of us can be surprised haha.
Fortunately, devs won't do something as braindead as ruin balance by reducing vehicle cooldowns in official AOW modes just because a few unskilled vehicle princesses can't play without an armoured shell lol so we're good.

@UNL1M1T3D_P0W3RThis topic is about freeze time reduction. What i'm asking from you to keep it clean and stop heating up with *this unbalanced and that unbalanced". Question is about 2 min freeze time reduction, If even it was 1.30, there wouldn't been any difference in chaotic environment. Why make things so heated from a fly to an elephant? Why would you lead me to dead content portal? I might just leave this game. It's no harm for you, till people start seeing how much bs its to die to ohk and do the same. And again, i have nothing against ohk overall, but it's way too spammy, broken commonly and random.
Offtopic: But hey since you say tgm works as intended, ill make small clip especially dedicated for you and later ill ask again question, does it tho?

@Man_iLoveFishingWith the way networking and latency are, it is inevitable that if something were to be accurately shown it would look like this, to an extent. You can observe the same thing with whatever has lots of tracers, like wildcats, jets or nightbirds that look like they're missing. This is "working as intended", the game shows you where the lizzle is, the alternative would be to lie and show the lizzle taking a trajectory that never happened but is closer to you on your screen. Not impossible to implement (in theory) but such a solution also wouldn't be perfect and might tend to fly through solid walls. Pick your poison?
That being said, I feel the delay in 2042 is higher than it should be, air vehicles have particularly broken hitreg on them (very noticeable with any slower ROF weapon), and the TGMs also have pretty broken networking. It's normal to hit an air vehicle, get static, then somehow the lizzle recovers and you flew through it, or to miss but have the game count it as a hit. I've had cases where I've shot the TGM down, got an XP event for it, then something like 300ms later it still hits me. In some extreme cases I've dealt full damage to ground vehicles when hitting terrain near them, though this one could be bad splash damage values. For some reason lizzles already ignore directional damage and deal the same damage to a lot of different vehicles, e.g. 27 to MAVs, and to RAMs, so it wouldn't surprise me if their splash is fried too.
However... Even if the networking issues were fixed, people would still hit you. - Man_iLoveFishing1 year agoSeasoned Ace
@Lady_OneYep... And based on these visuals i make my moves. These clips are particularly show how off TGM can go. And ofc i have instances where i'm shooting aircrafts and flies trough. Or when i'm shooting TGM projectile with guns and seeing it taking impacts but keeps going.
